The musical journey of Nishant Akshar began during his early childhood. Since his father, Mr. G.S. Kukreja, was keenly interested in ghazal singing, Nishant Akshar was fortunate enough to receive the tutelage under his guidance. As the time progressed the love towards music grew in abundance. Nishant Akshar began singing the compositions of Ustad Ghulam Ali with ease and perfection. Mehdi Hassan Saheb was also one of the insipirations of Nishant Akshar.
